FOUNDATION PRACTITIONER™

Professional Facial Massage & Structural Facial Work Training

2-Day Professional Certification Training in the Netherlands

The SAYURI Foundation Practitioner™ training teaches the professional foundations of structural facial work: how to observe the face, recognise common patterns and apply manual techniques with greater precision, purpose and understanding.

You learn not only how to perform a technique — but why, where and when to use it.

The SAYURI Foundation Practitioner™ training is a two-day professional facial massage course developed for beauty professionals, skin therapists, facialists, massage therapists and practitioners who want to work with the face beyond the surface.

Visible facial ageing is not determined by the skin alone. Muscular tension, fascia, connective tissue, circulation, tissue mobility and structural relationships can all influence the way the face looks and moves.

Rather than teaching only a fixed sequence of massage movements, SAYURI Foundation Practitioner™ introduces a structured way of observing, understanding and working with the face.

From Protocol to Understanding

Before working with the face, we learn to look at it. Where is tension present? Where has mobility changed? How do different facial areas relate to one another? Which structures may be influencing the visible pattern?

The Foundation Practitioner™ programme introduces students to this analytical way of thinking and connects it with precise professional manual work. The objective is to move from simply reproducing movements toward understanding the logic behind the treatment.

DIGITAL PRE-LEARNING

Your Training Begins Before the Practical Day

Before attending the in-person training, participants receive access to selected online theory and educational materials through the SAYURI ACADEMY learning environment.

The pre-training theory prepares you for the practical day and may cover anatomy relevant to intraoral work, hygiene, indications and contraindications, client preparation, professional safety and the theoretical principles behind the SAYURI approach.
This allows the in-person training day to focus more deeply on demonstration, hand positioning, technique, correction and supervised hands-on practice.

Selected digital learning materials and training resources remain available after the course so participants can revisit key concepts while integrating the technique into professional practice.

THE SAYURI PROFESSIONAL SYSTEM

What You Will Learn

This is not a theory-only course. Techniques are demonstrated step by step and then practised under professional supervision.
During practical training you develop: Precision · Hand Positioning · Direction · Pressure · Rhythm · Tissue Awareness
Particular attention is given to learning how tissues respond beneath the hands and how this information can influence the way you perform the treatment.
The goal is that participants leave the training with a structured professional foundation they can begin integrating into their practice.

THE SAYURI PROFESSIONAL STANDARD

What Makes SAYURI Foundation Practitioner™ Different

The SAYURI method approaches facial ageing as a multidimensional process.
Skin quality remains important, but the visible appearance of the face is also influenced by muscular activity, fascia, connective tissue, circulation, fluid dynamics, mobility and structural changes.
During Foundation Practitioner™, these principles are translated into practical manual work.
Assessment, anatomical understanding and technique are therefore taught as interconnected parts of one professional treatment approach.

Structural Thinking

Learn to observe facial patterns before choosing how to work.

The SAYURI approach was developed at the intersection of biochemistry, professional skin practice and hands-on work with age-related facial change.

Katerina Trofimova combines a scientific understanding of skin and ageing with structural manual practice, creating an educational approach in which anatomy, assessment, tissue behaviour and precise manual work are considered together.

SAYURI ACADEMY was created to translate this approach into structured professional education for practitioners.
