BUCCAL STRUCTURAL SCULPTING™

Professional Buccal & Intraoral Facial Massage Training

1-Day Specialist Certification Training in the Netherlands

SAYURI Buccal Structural Sculpting™ is an intensive one-day professional training dedicated to intraoral facial massage and structural work with the lower and mid-face.

The training teaches practitioners how to work safely and precisely with structures accessible through the oral cavity, while understanding their relationship with the jaw, cheeks, lips, facial contours and external muscular and fascial patterns.

Rather than treating buccal massage as an isolated lifting technique, SAYURI approaches intraoral work as part of a broader structural understanding of the face.

The objective is not aggressive manipulation of the face. It is controlled, anatomically informed structural work.

Buccal massage has become internationally known as a facial sculpting technique. But professional intraoral work requires considerably more than learning a sequence of movements inside the mouth.

The practitioner needs to understand where the hands are working, which structures are being approached, how much pressure is appropriate and when intraoral work is — or is not — indicated.

SAYURI Buccal Structural Sculpting™ combines anatomical understanding, professional safety and precise hands-on technique.

DIGITAL PRE-LEARNING

Your Training Begins Before the Practical Day

Before attending the in-person training, participants receive access to selected online theory and educational materials through the SAYURI ACADEMY learning environment.

The pre-training theory prepares you for the practical day and may cover anatomy relevant to intraoral work, hygiene, indications and contraindications, client preparation, professional safety and the theoretical principles behind the SAYURI approach.
This allows the in-person training day to focus more deeply on demonstration, hand positioning, technique, correction and supervised hands-on practice.

Selected digital learning materials and training resources remain available after the course so participants can revisit key concepts while integrating the technique into professional practice.

THE SAYURI PROFESSIONAL SYSTEM

What You Will Learn

Buccal work cannot be learned effectively from theory alone. During the training, techniques are demonstrated step by step and practised under supervision.
Particular attention is given to: Hand Positioning · Anatomical Orientation · Pressure · Direction · Hygiene · Client Comfort · Tissue Response
Students learn to develop sensitivity and control rather than relying on force.

Intraoral Anatomy & Structural Relationships

  • Anatomy relevant to professional intraoral facial work.
  • Muscular structures accessible through intraoral techniques.
  • Relationships between the oral cavity, cheeks, lips, jaw and lower face.
  • External and internal muscular relationships.
  • Recognising areas of muscular tension.
  • Understanding facial asymmetry in relation to intraoral work.

Buccal & Intraoral Techniques

  • Professional preparation for intraoral treatment.
  • Safe positioning of the practitioner and client.
  • Hygienic professional working protocol.
  • Precise intraoral hand positioning.
  • Controlled pressure and direction.
  • Work with cheek and perioral structures.
  • Techniques for areas of muscular tension.
  • Integration of intraoral and external manual work.
  • Treatment sequencing.
  • Adapting techniques to individual facial structure.

Sculpting & Facial Contours

The practical component explores how intraoral work can be incorporated into a professional facial treatment aimed at working with:

  • Lower-face tension.
  • Cheek structures.
  • Jaw-related patterns.
  • Perioral tension.
  • Facial contour.
  • Asymmetrical muscular patterns.
  • Mobility of relevant soft tissues.
THE SAYURI PROFESSIONAL STANDARD

What Makes the Sayuri Buccal Approach Different

Structural

Buccal work is connected to the wider structural relationships of the face rather than taught as an isolated technique.

Anatomy-informed

Students learn what they are working with, rather than memorising movements.

Controlled & Precise

The emphasis is on precision, tissue awareness and appropriate pressure — not aggressive manipulation.

Integrated

Intraoral techniques are taught in relation to external facial work and can become part of a broader professional treatment strategy.

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE

FAQ

What is buccal massage training?

Buccal massage training teaches professional intraoral manual techniques performed from inside the oral cavity. SAYURI Buccal Structural Sculpting™ places these techniques within a wider structural framework involving anatomy, muscular relationships, tissue behaviour, safety and external facial work.

Is buccal massage the same as intraoral facial massage?

The terms are often used for related forms of manual work inside the mouth. SAYURI uses ‘Buccal Structural Sculpting™’ for its proprietary specialist training while also describing the course clearly as professional buccal and intraoral facial massage training.

Do I need to complete Foundation Practitioner™ first?

No. Foundation Practitioner™ is not a prerequisite for SAYURI Buccal Structural Sculpting™. The Buccal course can be taken as a standalone specialist training, subject to the Academy’s professional entry requirements.

Can I combine Buccal with Foundation Practitioner™?

Yes. Selected dates allow participants to complete Foundation Practitioner™ on Days 1–2 and Buccal Structural Sculpting™ on Day 3 as one intensive three-day training period.

Is the course practical?

Yes. The practical day focuses on demonstration, hand positioning, pressure, direction, hygiene, client comfort and supervised hands-on technique.

Is theory included?

Yes. Selected theory and digital educational materials are provided online before the in-person training so the practical day can focus more deeply on hands-on learning.

Will I keep access to the online materials?

Selected digital learning materials remain available after completion so participants can revisit key concepts. Exact access terms are defined by SAYURI ACADEMY.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Participants who successfully complete the programme receive the SAYURI Buccal Structural Sculpting™ Certificate.

Where is the buccal massage training held?

The training is offered in the Netherlands. Exact location details are shown with each available training date.

Is this medical or dental training?

No. SAYURI Buccal Structural Sculpting™ is professional education in non-medical manual facial practice and does not provide a medical or dental qualification.
